imightbeinatree - the tumblr blog
so i tried out tumblr for a few days, and now it has been a week, i'm leaving the site up for a while, but you shouldn't really expect new links here, i like the way i can embed pics and video into tumblr, i like the ability to highlight text to quote it, and i love the wysiwyg
i did have my own firefox extensions to help me run this site, and i think i could have come close to what tumblr did but i don't see any reason to go try when their platform is established and has other benefits as well (themes! twitter/facebook integration! you can follow other people!)
plus i've got plenty of other side projects to work on if i want to spend some free time hacking on some code
so tumblr it is! check it out, stop reading this and hit the link above

i remember working on the original site before yahoo bought it way back in the day, what a crazy ride it has been since then. love that they call mbl "a wildly innovative service".

new trailer for terminator salvation
this looks completely awesome, perhaps the best terminator movie yet. i really love 1 and 2... and 3 was pretty good, the thing about 3 was i actually liked the ending where john conner is set up to lead the revolution almost by accident.

a note from colin: As you are likely aware, viewers may download the original source file for each song if they sign on for free membership. My source files have very little compression (average size = 600MB per song), so the quality is much higher than a BluRay burn could offer.
My Vimeo account currently features the opening of the concert through to The Wretched. I am able to upload 5GB per week and will continue to do so until the concert is completed.
